Amber Benson bio
Amber Benson (born April 14, 1970) is a famous American singer, actress, writer and director. She was best known as Tara Maclay in the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Benson has also written, directed and starred her own movies Chance and Lovers Liars & Lunatics. She also starred in the film Kiss the Bride. Benson was born January 8 1977. She was born in Birmingham Alabama the daughter of Diane Benson and Edward Benson a psychiatrist. Danielle is her elder sister and an artist. Benson's father was Jewish while her mother was Southern Baptist raised by Southern Baptist parents. Benson was raised in Alabama and went to a Reform congregation in Alabama. Benson has appeared featured in a variety of TV and film series since Buffy was over, most notably The Killing Jar. Additionally, she worked as a scriptwriter on her own show, the Ghosts of Albion Series and directed Drones in the year 2010.
