Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah, an Indian actress and musician is most well known for her work in Tamil and Malayalam films. Annayum Rasoolum was her Malayalam as well as Tamil debut. Her debut was in Tamil with Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea Jeremiah is an Anglo-Indian born at Arakkonam Tamil Nadu. Her father works as lawyer at the Madras High Court. She is the sibling of the researcher assistant from Leuven, Belgium. Jeremiah was raised in Chennai and attended National Public School and graduated from Women's Christian College. Andrea was able to begin studying piano when she was eight. Andrea was a huge fan of geeks and wanted to be a psychiatrist. Young Stars, a Jackson Five-style band she joined at 10 years of age, provided her with the foundations for music and singing. She also was a theatre artist in her college as well as appearing in various productions staged in collaboration with The Madras Players and EVAM. She was also president of Women's Christian College's Student Senate. Andrea began her stage career through Girish Karnad's Nagamandala. In 2006, she appeared in a brand new advertisement for Leo alongside actor Shiva. The actress was also part of the series which was broadcast on Podhigai. The actress has also appeared on stage in India. She was briefly featured in Kanda Mudhal's final scene (2005). Gautham Menon asked Andrea to be the main character following her performance. she sang in Vettaiyaadu's Vilaiyaadu. The film was an adaptation of the novel by James Siegel Derailed with Andrea as Kalyani an aspiring homemaker, whose husband has an affair with her and gets blackmailed. Andrea was chosen for this role because of Simran and Tabu were two actors who were approached by the producers. It was first released in early in the 2010. In 2011 she agreed to be a minor role for Venkat Prabhu's film with a number of stars Mankatha which was released on August 11, 2011. In 2013, she began her career in Malayalam film by appearing in Rajeeev's romantic film Annayum Rasoolum.
