Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe was raised by a mixed ethnic family. Her father is Nigerian Swiss while her mother was English. She was raised in the south London Council Estate. She went to The Brit School aged 14. She earned her BA in acting at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. While attending the school was when she performed in various stage productions including King Henry V as Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe started her acting career through the film Storm Damage. She's appeared as guest on Teachers Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Her debut film as a performer came from that of the Woody Allen 2007 film Cassandra's Dream. She starred alongside Colin Farrell & Ewan MacGregor. She then was the lead in Elisha on the BBC Three pilot drama, in West 10 LDN. In her role, she also played Ollie in the six episodes of Trexx, Flipside, and Flipside. The year 2008 saw her was offered the role as Bambi on The ITV2 Drama series Secret Diary of a Call Girl which aired in series two and three. Madekwe made an appearance in the comedy film How to Lose Friends & Affect People. A couple of her credits on stage include Little Sweet Thing (by Roy Williams) and Flight Path (by David Watson).
Madekwe was cast as Ashley Davenport on ABC's Drama The Beautiful Life. The two-episode drama aired just the duration of two weeks The CW and then it ended. Ashley Davenport was her role in the ABC drama Revenge. The show premiered in May 2013 and it was announced that Madekwe, who had played a regular role in the two previous seasons, would be leaving the show with a guest appearance on the first episode of the season's new episode. In the TV series Salem in 2014, she portrayed Tituba between 2014 and 2016. Madekwe got married to her actor boyfriend Iddo goldberg in June of 2012. Apart from Secret Diary of a Call Girl they have also worked together on Salem and Iddo Goldberg had a part alongside her in the show on TV.
Ashley Leggat is a Gemini-nominated actor who was raised by the large family. She was the daughter of Patty and Roy Leggat. She was raised by her parents Roy and Patty and four older brothers, Rob, Brett, and twins Todd and Bram. Ashley's four brothers, each of them extremely active, took part in hockey in the winter months and played baseball in the summers, meaning they grew up mostly in arenas and baseball parks. Ashley did not walk, but she danced, so when she was 2 1/2 years old she began Baby Ballet -and she fell in love with. Ashley began to be a dancer immediately after that. Ashley continued to dance competitively through high school graduation, at the top levels of competitions, such as ballet, tap, Jazz, Pointe, Acrobatics, Musical Theatre, Lyrical, Hip Hop, and much more. The big dance events, such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and others, have awarded her with the title "top soloist".
