Alison Krauss, born in Decatur, Illinois on 23 July 1971, is a well-known and wealthy Country Singer. LeAnn Kymes and her were two of the earliest recipients of a Grammy Award. Alison Maria Krauss - born on the 23rd of July 1971 is a popular American country and bluegrass singer. She began her career in the industry as a young girl, winning local contests by the age of 10, and recording her first album at 14. In 1985 she was signed with Rounder Records. Her first solo album was released in 1987. She was asked to be a part of Alison Krauss & Union Station with whom she performs.
