Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy (born April 16th 1996) was born in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker. Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychology student. Her father, an native of Argentina with Scottish as well as English descent is also her mother. Her mother is Spanish-English. The four siblings of Taylor-Joy are from her father's former marriage. The family was within Buenos Aires until she was six, after which they moved to the Victoria region in London. According to Taylor-Joy, the move was traumatic and she refused to learn English with the intention of returning to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school when she changed schools from Northlands. In the following years, she attended Queen's Gate School and studied ballet. When she was 16, she quit the school to explore acting as a profession. Taylor-Joy has always known she wanted to be an actor. The opportunity was offered to her opportunity by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management she offered her a job as a model.
